Happy Saturday, friends!
It's been a pretty special day today. Our friends in NYC threw a baby shower for me and a diaper shower for Rob. My favorite part was getting to have time praying and thanking God for Lucie, surrounded by such amazing, loving women that I am blessed to call friends :) It was fun getting to start gathering many essential items we will need when we bring Lucie home too!
We'll share more pictures from the shower tomorrow, but here's one below.
Thankfully, Lucie has had a very stable day today. She will continue to be on Nasal SPONT for 6 hours and Nasal SIMV for 6 hours this weekend. On Monday after her weekly lab work is done, they will discuss stretching her on Nasal SPONT continuously. Her feeds have been increased to 40 mLs every three hours. She's becoming the most adorable chunker!!! :D

We had a detour on the bus today and ended up having to walk through Central Park to get to the Hospital. At first I was bummed that we'd be taking a longer time to get to Lucie, but then it was so beautiful to get to walk through Central Park in all its glory :)
