Hey Wonderfuls!
Lucille is doing great! She has been without her O2 since Friday, even during her feedings! Now, that is what we call progress!! Lucie Pie is now weighing 3,180 grams which is an official 7 pounds 0.2 ounces! Big OL' CHUNK! Her head circumference is 33.5cm and her length is 47cm or 18.5 inches.
We have had multiple new roommates while staying in our new area, most of whom are just there a day or two. There is so much turnover that it makes it easy for the nurses to get excited and start talks of Lucie coming home "any day now". Our "one day at a time" mentality is really being challenged, to say the least! We can't wait for the day we get to bring our Lucille Carolyn home! They haven't started her five day countdown or anything, they are just really optimistic and cheering her (and us) on. Even when they do start the countdown, we know it can be restarted if needed. Please pray for us to stay focused on God's best timing for Lucie. We know even once we are out of the NICU we will still have a long road ahead of us with the therapy she will need, but of course, getting her home is going to be a huge win!
