Hi Friends,
In our excitement from yesterday's seven pound baby, we forgot to mention that our dear friends (Richard & Jessa) came to visit Lucie yesterday! They hadn't seen her in several weeks so it was really cool to get to have them come by.
Lucille is at the point where she is at least trying to take each of her feeds. Lucie-Lyn takes between 15-60mL each time, which is great! (Her full feed is 60mL.) If she isn't able to finish, because she is tired or having desats (dips in her oxygen saturation level) then she's fed the rest through her tube.
She has had no stool since Saturday. When she had, Lucie was able to go without any suppository. It is making us a little less nervous this time because she doesn't seem to be experiencing as much discomfort. They are keeping an eye on her and we're hoping she will be able to go sometime in the next day, on her own without a suppository. As of tonight, she is now weighing in at 3,250 grams, a wonderful 7 pounds, 2.6 ounces.
At sometime this week, she will have a head sono, it will probably be the last one she has before she comes home. Please pray that everything will continue to look stable on the results. Thank you so very much for your continued prayers and support.
love,
Los Hicksons
